There are two methods of hair transplantation, FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), the difference between them is the difference between hair removal and transplantation.
FUT Method:
In the FUT method, the hair is taken from the donor area as a strip, and after an incision is made to the area to be transplanted, it is transplanted into a strip again. This method is faster and cheaper, but it is necessary to take into account the possibility of not looking completely natural as an image. Also, because the incision is made, stitches are required, so there is a possibility that a scar will remain, and it will take longer to heal. On average, it takes 7-8 hours to transplant 3000 hairs. FUE Method:
In the FUE method, the hair is taken one by one from the donor area and transplanted in the same way. Since no incisions are made, stitches are not required, so there is neither a scar nor a long healing process. Also, due to the careful and meticulous nature of the process, its appearance looks much more natural. However, this method takes much longer because it requires more labor, and it also increases the cost. On average, several sessions over a few days are required to transplant 3000 hairs. (PICTURE)
